Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
"Company" refers to DOAR.
"Customer" refers to any individual or business that engages DOAR for door fitting and joinery services.
"Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, which govern all services provided by the Company to the Customer.
2. Services
DOAR provides professional door fitting and joinery services, including but not limited to:
- Door sales and supply
- Custom joinery
- Door fitting, repairs, and adjustments
- Maintenance and aftercare for installed doors
3. Quotations and Estimates
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Quotations are based on information provided by the Customer. Any discrepancies or additional work required will result in revised quotations and/or additional charges.
- We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any quotation prior to acceptance by the Customer.
4. Booking and Scheduling
- Bookings are subject to availability.
- A deposit may be required at the time of booking.
- Changes to scheduled services must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
5. Pricing and Payment Terms
- Prices will be provided in writing either as a quotation or estimate.
- Payments are due in accordance with the payment terms outlined in the quotation.
- Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month.
6. Deposits and Cancellations
- A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the agreed appointment may result in a forfeiture of the deposit.
7. Materials and Installation
- All materials will be provided as per the agreed specification.
- The Customer is responsible for ensuring the work area is clear and accessible.
8. Warranties and Guarantees
We provide a 2 year guarantee on all doors and fittings supplied and installed by DOAR.
The guarantee does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by third parties.
9. Customer Responsibilities
- The Customer must provide accurate information and full access to the premises.
- The Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions.
10. Liability
DOAR will take all reasonable precautions to avoid damage to property during installation. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing structural issues.
11. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond our control.
12. Amendments to the Agreement
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through negotiation.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
